Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the ambitious expansion of the game originally released in 2022, has sold 5 million units in its first three days, according to an official statement by Bandai Namco and FromSoftware. This demonstrates the colossal success of the franchise, whose original game has sold 25 million copies.

Shadow of the Erdtree Has Sold Over 5 Million Copies

The Elden Ring expansion has been available since June 21 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, and it has already sold a fifth of the units that Elden Ring has sold since 2022.

In just three days, Shadow of the Erdtree has sold over 5 million copies. This includes all sales, both physical and digital, on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. This means that the DLC has sold a fifth of Elden Ring’s total sales, and it only took three days to achieve this.
