In an interview with TMZ Sports on Thursday, UFC president Dana White said he believes a fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg would shatter all MMA records.

“This would be the biggest fight ever in the history of the world, bigger than anything that’s ever been done,” stated White. “It would break all pay-per-view records. These guys would raise hundreds of millions of dollars for charity.”

After speaking with Musk and Zuckerberg White added that “both guys are absolutely dead serious” about stepping inside the steel cage.

“They both said, ‘Yeah, we’ll do it.’ They both want to do it,” White added. “Mark hit me up first and said, ‘Is [Elon] serious?’ And I said, ‘I don’t know, let me ask him.’ I asked him, and he said, ‘Yeah, I’m dead serious.'”

The two billionaires seem set on squaring off inside the octagon following an apparent social media spat. On Tuesday night, Musk tweeted that he’d be “up for a cage match” fight against Zuckerberg.

Facebook’s CEO responded on Wednesday, posting a screenshot of Musk’s tweet to his Instagram story with the caption, “send me location.”

From the reactions on social media, White has given his approval to setting up the fight and appears to be on point in his opinion that: “You don’t have to be a fight fan to be interested in this fight. Everybody would want to see it.”
